Marshall & Family | Portrait

When Scott and Kris asked me to photograph them and their adorable son Marshall, I was incredibly flattered. Not only are they family (Scott & Kris are aunt and uncle) but Marshall is their first born and probably one of the most anticipated members of our family. Scott and Kris were married over 10 years before they decided to have a child. We had all pretty much abandoned the thought that they would one day produce an offspring. So when I was told Kris was pregnant, I seriously thought I was being punked. But thankfully it was true, and I was going to have a cousin....finally. :) Since his birth, Marshall has been an extraordinary part of our family. He's made me see the beauty in family, life, and love. I never knew that the life of one little person could bring so much joy to so many people.

So as you can probably tell, this shoot was especially close to my heart. I think these photos speak volumes about this incredibly amazing family and their love for each other.

Meet Scott, Kris, and 1-year-old Marshall...
